[Author's Note:  Newt Gingrich, like any one of us, has many gifts and a few flaws.  The flaws usually don't define us permanently and such is the case with Newt.  In the political arena he has proven to be a master strategist and astute analyst.  In the video I present below he describes the Islamic threat to the United States and suggests the actions we must take to be victorious over those who despise our Constitution.  It is a seminal 17 and a half minute speech.  The interesting thing is that the Muslim Brotherhood jihadis and their lapdog front groups don't really know America; they certainly have no idea of the sunami that is rising against their totalitarian ilk.]

The United States and other Western democracies are long past overdue in addressing the techniques of civilization or stealth jihad employed by the Muslim Brotherhood and Associates.

Europe is beginning to experience "defensive jihad" where Islamic violence is more pronounced.

Latin America is under threat as well.  Hezbollah's presence has been steadily increasing in Argentina, Venezuela, Panama, and Mexico.  Iran is building a military base in Venezuela with the purpose of launching ground-to-ground missiles.  For now the priority is trafficking drugs and covertly placing jihadi operatives within the United States.  Eventually they will start to co-opt societies in Latin America.  The Roman Catholic Church has been co-opted in the United States with the call for "social justice".  That trumpet will sound in your nations as well; it was Columbia that introduced the West to Liberation Theology in 1968.  Add the propensity for corruption on the part of politicians and you have a fertile environment for Islamic jihad.  Don't be fooled.

Once you open your eyes to what sharia really is and that it is primarily a political-military ideology masquerading as religion you will be free to resist and defeat Islamic jihad.

Shariah: The Threat to America, Part Two

 

[Author’s note:  With the move by the Council on American Islamic Relations, Texas Chapter, to establish a Shariah Tribunal in Dallas it is time to raise awareness of this unconstitutional and seditious project and other treasonous actions by the Muslim Brotherhood inside the United States.  In the course of several postings I will make clear to you the nature of Islam and the realities of shariah.  Most importantly you will come to clearly understand why shariah is completely incompatible with Western values and traditions of freedom.  Islam and shariah are totally inconsistent with the United States Constitution and that is my inspiration for making the Muslim’s not-so-secret war on the West known to you.  I do this in the hopes of alerting all non-Muslims to the onerous and dangerous threat in our midst.  In the course of my postings you will come to understand the fundamental tenets of the Muslim “religion”, its totalitarian aspirations, their deceptive tactics for infiltrating Western institutions, and the need for all non-Muslims to awake and take action against an insidious and evil enemy in our midst.

Part Two:  Key Tenets of Shariah, its sources and applications

 

Most Westerners are easily duped by Muslim operatives because we have not taken the time to research Islam and because our schools have failed to teach the facts concerning the true nature of Islam.  Instead, we depend on what Muslims want to tell us.  In the United States, the information is provided by the Muslim Brotherhood through its front groups like ISNA (Islamic Society of North America), CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations), MSA (Muslim Students’ Association), MCA (The Muslim Communities Association), UASR (United Association for Studies and Research), OLF (Occupied Land Fund), IAP (Islamic Association for Palestine), NAIT (North American Islamic Trust), FID (Foundation for International Development), IMA (Islamic Medical Association), AMSE (The Association of Muslim Scientists and Engineers), AMSS (The Association of Muslim Social Scientists), and many, many more.

 

In this part I will cover the information you need to properly evaluate Islam and to see through the lies we are exposed to by our own media.  The mainstream media turn to CAIR to give us the “Muslim perspective”.  The talking points given to support that perspective is the lie we are fed so the Muslim Brotherhood can further its plans to implement shariah compliant communities in our midst.  Of course, it’s very beneficial to have had the support of Bush and now Obama.  The Muslim Brotherhood, founder of Hamas, enjoys unprecedented access to our White House and its presence is felt in academia, government and law enforcement.  Only an educated and aware citizenry can counter the clandestine and seditious actions by the Muslim Brotherhood and their front groups.  More on these groups, their plans and actions in subsequent postings.  For now we need to understand what Muslims really believe, the tenets of their “faith”.

 

Dr. Bill Warner (Center for the Study of Political Islam) in his book An Abridged Koran:  The Reconstructed Historical Koran explains that “Islam is defined by the words of Allah in the Koran, and the words and actions of Mohammed, the Sunna”.  He goes on to explain that the words and actions of Mohammed are found in two collections of texts -  the Sira (Mohammed’s life) and the Hadith.  Mohammed’s “words and actions are considered to be the divine pattern for humanity acceptable to Allah”.

The trilogy of texts is the Koran.  The Koran is not the bible of Muslims; it only represents 14% of the total textual doctrine.  The trilogy is the foundation and totality of Islam.  In future postings I will explain why the Islamic Trilogy contains 328,000 words devoted to political violence.  Compare this to the New Testament which contains none or zero.  The Hebrew Bible only contains only 34 such words.  Islam you will come to know is not a religion of peace, at all.  At the end of this series you will be able to decide for yourselves if Islam deserves to be referred to as a religion or, more properly, as political-military totalitarian ideology masquerading as a religion.

 

The key tenets of Islam:

 

1.  Abrogation:  Verses that come later in the Koran, chronologically, supersede or abrogate the earlier verses.  This results in the more moderate verses of the Meccan period were abrogated by the later, violent, Medinan verses.  “When we cancel a message, or throw it into oblivion, we replace with one better or on similar.  Do you know that Allah has power over all things?” (Koran 2:106)

 

2.  Adultery:  Unlawful intercourse is a capital crime under shariah, punishable by lashing and stoning to death.  “It is not lawful to shed the blood of a Muslim except for one of three sins:  a married person committing fornication, and in just retribution for premeditated murder, and [for sin of treason involving] a person renouncing Islam, and thus leaving the community [to join the enemy camp to wage war against the faithful].” (Al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, and An-Nasa’i)

 

3.  Apostasy:  The established ruling of shariah is that apostates are to be killed wherever they may be found.  “Anyone who, after accepting Faith in Allah, utters Unbelief, except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith – but such as open their heart to Unbelief – on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty.” (Koran 16:106)

 

4.  Democracy and Islam:  Any system of man-made law is considered illicit under Islamic law, for whose adherents Allah has already provided the only law permitted, shariah.  Islam and western-style democracy can never co-exist in harmony.  “And if any fail to judge by the light of what Allah has revealed, they are no better than unbelievers.” (Koran 5:47)  “The shariah cannot be amended to conform to changing human values and standards.  Rather, it is the absolute norm to which all human values and conduct must conform.” (Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Yousef al-Qaradawi)

 

5.  Female Genital Mutilation:  “Circumcision is obligatory….for both men and women.” (‘Umdat al-Salik, e4.3)

 

6.  Gender Inequality:  Shariah explicitly relegates women to a status inferior to men.

 

            a.  (Koran 2:282)  Testimony of a woman before a judge is worth half that of a man.

             b.  (Koran 4:11)  Women are to receive just one half the inheritance of a male.

            c.  (Koran 4:34)  Muslim men are given permission by Allah in the Koran to beat their wives.

            d.  (Koran 2:223)  Muslim men are given permission by Allah to commit marital rape, as they please.

             e.  (Koran 4:3)  Muslim men are permitted to marry up to four wives and to keep concubines in any number.

            f.  (Koran 2:221)  Muslim women may marry only one Muslim man and are forbidden to marry a non-Muslim.

            g.  (‘Umdat al-Salik, m10.3)  A woman may not travel outside the home without the permission of her male guardian and must be accompanied by a male family member if she does so.

            h.  (Koran 24:13) Under shariah, to bring a claim of rape, a Muslim woman must present four male Muslim witnesses in good standing.  In effect, under shariah, women who bring a claim of rape without being able to produce the requisite four male Muslim witnesses are admitting to having had an illicit sex.  If she or the man is married, this amounts to an admission of adultery.

            i.  (‘Umdat al-Salik, m13.4)  A Muslim woman who divorces and remarries loses custody of children from a prior marriage.

 

7.  “Honor” Killing:  Also known as Muslim family executions.  A Muslim parent faces no legal penalty under Islamic law for murdering his child or grandchild.  (‘Umdat al-Salik, o1.1-2)

 

8.  Hudud Punishments:  The plural of Hadd, is a fixed penalty prescribed as a right of Allah.  Because Hudud penalties belong to Allah, Islamic law does not permit them to be waived or commuted.  “Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if you believe in Allah and the Last Day:  and let a party of believers witness their punishment.” (Koran 24:2)

 

9.  Islamic Supremacism:  The belief that Islam is superior to every other culture, faith, government, and society and that it is ordained by Allah to conquer and dominate them.

            a.  (Koran 3:85)  “And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers.”

            b.  (Koran 98:6)  Non-Muslims are “the most vile of created beings”.

            c.  (Hasan al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood)  “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.”

             d.  (Omar Ahmad, Council on American Islamic Relations co-founder/Board Chairman, 1998)  “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant.  The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

 

10.  Jew Hatred:  Antisemitism is intrinsic to shariah and is based on the genocidal behavior of Mohammed himself in wiping out the entire Jewish population of the Arabian Peninsula.  However, Christian also figure into the wrath of Allah.  Together with the Jews, Christians are referred to People of the Book.

 

            (Koran 9:29)  “Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and his apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of truth, even if they be the People of the Book, until they pay the jizya [Dhimmi tax] with willing submission and feel themselves subdued.”

 

11.  Jihad:  Jihad is warfare to spread Islam.

 

            a.  (‘Umdat al-Salik, 09.0, Jihad)  “Jihad means to wage war against non-Muslims and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the religion.”

             b.  (Koran 8:39)  “So fight them until there is no more fitna and all submit to the religion of Allah alone.”

             c.  (Ayatollah Khomeini as quoted by Amir Taheri)  “Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled or incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world….But those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world….Those who know nothing of Islam pretend Islam counsels against war.  Those [who say this] are witless.  Islam says:  Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all!”

 

12.  Lying or Taqiyya:  It is permissible for a Muslim to lie, especially to non-Muslims, to safeguard himself personally or to protect Islam.

            a.  (Koran 3:28)  “Let not the believers take the disbelievers as friends instead of the believers, and whoever does that, will never be helped by Allah in any way, unless you indeed fear a danger from them.  And Allah warns you against Himself, and to Allah is the final return.”

            b.  (Bukhari vol. 3:857 p. 533)  “Mohammed said, ‘War is deceipt.’”

             c.  (Tafsir Ibn Kathir, vol. 2, 141)  “’We smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them.’”  This explains why Muslims working within our government and other institutions may give non-Muslims the impression of “friendship” to further the objectives of Islam.

 

13.  Slander/Blasphemy:  In shariah, slander means anything that might offend a Muslim, even if it is true.  Any depiction or irreverent referral to Allah or Mohammed is considered blasphemy and punishable by death.

 

14.  Underage Marriage:  Islamic doctrine permits the marriage of pre-pubescent girls.  There is no minimum age for a marriage contract and consummation may take place when the girl is age eight or nine.

 

15.  Zakat:  The obligation for Muslims to pay zakat arises out of Koran Verse 9:60 and is one of the Five Pillars of Islam.  Zakat is only to be given only to Muslims, never to non-Muslims.

 

            (‘Umdat al-Salik, h8.7-h8.18)  According to shariah, there are eight categories of recipients for Zakat:  The poor; Those short of money; Zakat workers; Those whose hearts are to be reconciled; Those purchasing their freedom; Those in debt; Those fighting for Allah (Jihad); Travelers needing money.

 

Shariah, its applications:

 

Shariah is characterized as a complete way of life (social, cultural, military, religious, and political), governed from the cradle to grave by Islamic law.  Shariah law is the law of the land within the Dar al-Islam (Abode or House of Islam or those places where shariah is implemented) and its imposition within Dar al-Harb (House of War or places where shariah is not implemented at all or not fully implemented) is the primary objective of jihad.

 

Abdur Rahman I. Doi, who died in 1999, was born in India but lived and taught Islamic law in Malaysia, Nigeria, and South Africa.  In Sharia:  The Islamic Law, he wrote, “In the shariah, there is an explicit emphasis on the fact that Allah is the Lawgiver and the whole ummah, the nation of Islam, is merely His trustee.  It is because of this principle that the ummah enjoys a derivative rule-making power and not an absolute law-creating prerogative….The entire Muslim ummah lives under the shariah to which every member has to submit, with sovereignty belonging to Allah alone.”  Thus, shariah is incompatible with democracy.

 

Doi continues by saying, “The shariah was not revealed for limited application for a specific age.  It will suit every age and time.  It will remain valid and shall continue to be, until the end of this life on earth.”

 

Islamic law is categorically and unquestionably a monopoly, the absolute and sole law of the land according to Muslims.  This reality creates an unavoidable legal problem with respect to shariah in America because Article VI of the US Constitution established that, in this country, the Constitution is the supreme law of the land.

PART ONE:  The Key Findings of Threat to America

 1.  The United States is under attack by foes who are motivated by shariah or Islamic law.  According to shariah, every faithful Muslim is obligated to wage jihad, whether violent or not, against those who do not adhere to this comprehensive, totalitarian, political-military code.  The enemy’s explicit goal is to establish a global Islamic State, known as the caliphate, governed by shariah.

 

2.  Shariah is based on the Koran (uncreated word of Allah dictated to Mohammed), the hadiths (sayings of Mohammed and accounts of his life), and the Sira (agreed interpretations).  It commands Muslims to carry out jihad indefinitely until all lands are brought under the domination of Dar al-Islam (House of Islam, literally translated as the House of Submission, where shariah is enforced).

 

3.  Shariah dictates that non-Muslims be given three choices:  convert to Islam and conform to shariah; submit as second-class citizens (dhimmis); or be killed.  Not all classes of non-Muslims or kafirs are given the second option.

 

4.  Both Islamic terrorism and pre-violent, “civilization jihad” or stealth jihad are commanded by shariah.  This is the view of many authorities of Islam widely recognized as mainstream and drawing upon orthodox texts, interpretations and practices of the faith.

 

5.  The Muslim Brotherhood is the font of modern Islamic jihad.  It is dedicated to the same global supremacist objectives as those that opt for violent jihad.

 

6.  The Muslim Brotherhood internal documents make clear that civilization jihad is subversion waged by stealth instead of violence only until such time as Muslims are powerful enough to progress to violent jihad for the final conquest.

 

7.  Those who work to insinuate shariah into the United States intend to subvert and replace the Constitution because, according to shariah, freedom of religion, other civil liberties enshrined in the Consitution, and the rule of man-made law are incompatable with Islam (which means “submission”).

 

8.  The shariah-adherent enemy prioritizes information warfare, manifested in American society as propaganda, political warfare, psychological warfare, influence operations and subversion of our foundational institutions.  Our government structure fails to recognize this strategy because it is focused so exclusively on kinetic attacks.  As a result, the United States remains crippled in its ability to engage this enemy effectively on his primary battlefield (inside the United States).

 

9.  The Muslim Brotherhood exploits the atmosphere of intimidation created by Islamic terrorists, thus inculcating in the West a perceived need for “outreach” to the “Muslim community” which, in turn, opens up the opportunities to pursue a campaign of stealthy infiltration into American and other Western societies.  The combination of “civilization jihad” and violent jihad may prove to be considerably more dangerous for this country and other Western societies than violent jihad alone.

 

10.  The Muslim Brotherhood has succeeded in penetrating our educational, legal and political systems, as well as top levels of government, intelligence, the media, and U.S. military, virtually paralyzing our ability to plan or respond effectively.

 

11.  Muslim Brotherhood organizations conduct outreach to the government, law enforcement, media, religious community, and others for one reason:  to subvert them in furtherance of their objective, which is implementation of Islamic law.

 

12.  An informed and determined counter-strategy to defend the Constitution from shariah can yet succeed – provided it is undertaken in a prompt, timely and comprehensive manner recommended by Team B II.

As we delve further into this topic you will be exposed to more detail and information that no Muslim wants you or your political leaders to know.  But it is only the truth that will set us free from the totalitarian scourge that is Islam and its odious law called shariah.  All non-Muslims have one choice and that is to choose between liberty, enslavement to barbarians, or death.  I choose liberty.

 While I recognize that there may be Muslims who don’t comply with shariah or are not well-versed in shariah, it is they who must come forward to champion their own freedom.  One thing you will come to see clearly:  Submission to shariah for Muslims is not optional or they risk being labelled an apostate (punishable by death).  In my next posting you will be able to better understand the true meaning of how Muslim operatives communicate.  Not unlike too many of our politicians, they follow a clear policy of deceipt to hide their true intentions and agenda.

Three Things You May Not Know About Islam

 

Shaping the Batteground: The Fight for Our Freedoms

[Editor's Note:  When I worked in political-military affairs it involved working with and coordinating between our US Embassies and the host country's senior military and selected government officials.  My teams also worked closely with local township officials and assorted civic leaders in the community.  We came to discover that the differences in attitudes and arguments were significant between the average citizen and his national government officials.  As in all countries, diplomatic social gatherings are really about "informing" the other side and influencing policy or programs.  Then each side rushes back to their offices, particularly the defense attaches, to write classified reports home informing and assessing.  Spokesmen from all sides then marshal their arguments and hand the media carefully crafted explanations designed to "inform" and persuade the public.  In short, all that is seen through the media must be vetted.  This vetting can only happen if you review many sources, have a sense of each source's bias, and compare and contrast the various arguments.  Finally,  look at the message and compare it to actions or behavior that you can observe.  For example, when President Obama makes a definitive statement about his intended plans his actions are always the opposite.  In the case of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, little king george appeases and abets the objectives of these terrorist organizations.  The lesson for all individuals who value liberty and peace is that we must collectively pierce the veil of our governments' propaganda and we must hold them accountable to the fundamental principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  The latter meaning that we have the right to pursue our dreams, our desired future.  The tacit and sometimes blatantly direct support of Western governments for radical Islam objectives, however, places each and all of us at risk.]

I've written several posts (under the label Threat of Islam) regarding the hypocritical and duplicitous nature of Islam.  I've presented the master plan of the Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR, etc...  More importantly, I wrote about the problems of Islam in Europe and the threats to reporters and satirists.

Spoiled children are instantly recognized when we are out in public.  They are the ones who are used to getting away with bad behavior or used to having Mommy or Daddy buy them anything they might see and want in a store.  They are the ones on the floor yelling and screaming in the middle of a supermarket with Mommy or Daddy, embarrassed, trying to talk sense into them.  The problem is that a two, three or four year old does not understand sense.  They do know that when they get away with something once they expect the same reward forevermore.  Politically correct parents usually raise spoiled children.  There are exceptions but that is a credit to the child or to other involved relatives perhaps.

Radical Islamists are, in many ways, like spoiled three year old children.  They are driven by their own selfish desires and care nothing for the consequences to others around them.  If something doesn't go exactly the way they would like, they go into a tantrum designed to draw attention and make all around them uncomfortable.  In the case of these adult spoiled brats, they eventually coax someone in their group to commit a crime, violate the rights of another, and act in a brutal and animalistic fashion.  Such was the case in the mass murder of innocent men and women working for the magazine Charlie Hebdo.  This after Muslims lost a defamation case in French Court against the same magazine years before.  The police officer who lay wounded and begged for his life was shot twice more at close range; that officer was a Muslim.

So how do we sort the wheat from the chaff, the good Muslims from the bad Muslims.  From a Western perspective I offer the following for your consideration:

1.  Don't judge a book by its cover.  A principle of jihad allows any Muslim to lie to any infidel in order to further their grand design of a Caliphate or a more limited goal of Sharia law in our countries.  Moral:  Talk is cheap; look to their actions.

2.  Don't accept their definition of Islam.  The first words out of the mouths of Imams and Western appeasers is that Islam is a religion of peace.  That is a lie and I've already written that I don't consider Islam a religion that was established by God; it was established by Mohammed and his life is example enough of its hypocricy.  A source for you to consider as you begin to learn about Islam must be Dr. Bill Warner.  His website ( www.politicalislam.com ) provides the fundamentals with which to discern the lies of Islam as a peaceful "religion".

3.  Don't assume that peaceful Muslims don't accept Jihad.  When you come to understand the basic tenets of Muslim "religion" you will see that it is impossible for a practicing Muslim to accept Western culture or values.  I have previously shown that it is impossible for a practicing Muslim to accept the Constitution of the United States.  Therefore, the only "peaceful Muslim" is the Muslim who does not practice their faith.  In insurgency terms:  All Muslims that practice their faith are either active Jihadists (involved and working for the cause) or passive Jihadists (providing aid and comfort in the background).  The only Muslims I will look to trust are those who actively work to reform Islam and eliminate all Jihadist rhetoric other than the words mandating that Jihad is the inner transformation of the individual, not fascist brand supported by Iran, Saudi Arabia etc....

4.  Don't allow your government officials to appease Muslims.  Australia is the example of how to treat Muslims.  There, Muslims either adapt to Australian customs and values or they are deported.  It is exactly what should happen in Europe and the United States.  There are dozens of radical Islamic military training centers throughout the United States, the FBI knows about them but does nothing.  Why?  The video below will show one set of criteria establishing President Obama as a facilitator of radical Islam.  With more proof stemming from the Benghazi murder of four Americans to cover up CIA weapons trafficking to ISIS, the assassination of three US citizens in Yemen, and more should warrant his trial for treason.  For now, that is my studied opinion.

5.  Don't allow yourselves to be defenseless against Muslim violence.  Here in the United States the radical Muslims will be in for a very rude awakening if they pull any stunts as they have in Paris or London.  We have the right to self-defense and that will be invoked.  This is a reason the United Nations and other despotic nations want the US to sign treaties to disarm Americans.  It is why Progressive Marxists, as found in the Democrat Party and the White House, join with billionaire globalists like Bloomberg and Soros in the attempt to disarm Americans.  It will simply not happen and they are scared to death to push it too far.  A well-founded fear, at that.  All freedom loving people must coordinate with other like-minded people for their common defense.  We have the right to defend our life and our property.

2015: Our Wish versus Our Reality

I have posted several warnings detailing the threats to our Constitution and the Republic.  These include our incredible debt, corrupt politicians and bankers, an increasingly ignorant population, and a globalist agenda that seeks its own good and cares not for the interests of any citizen in any nation.

I have attempted to highlight the reasons why the US Constitution is a unique document which should resonate within anyone who understands the value of liberty and the freedom to pursue your own dream.  The only limitation should be that my freedom cannot limit your freedom and vice-versa.

When I view 2015 and beyond I must conclude that it is in the hands of God, our Creator.  Too often throughout history good plans have become corrupted by greed or a narcissistic craving for power.  The average citizen has rarely been represented and too often oppressed by a social or political or business class that only responds to their own satisfactions.  While the revolutionary political experiment by the Founders of the United States held much promise, our history has been mired by the less noble acts of men.  Despite the corrupt and the traitorous the United States still captured the imagination of all those who came to our shores to become "free".

With the advent of technology evil men (and women) are able to abuse our freedoms as never before.  Our own National Security Agency continuously violates the Constitution and behaves no better than the East German Stasi under the aegis of the Soviet police state.  Our own Supreme Court has ruled that police violations of a citizen's rights is acceptable IF the police officer THOUGHT (not knew) that a violation of the law had taken place.  When the court system begins to support the implicit or explicit objectives of those who would create a police state the rule of law ceases to exist.

I have often stated that the only thing that ensured our liberty was the rule of law.  This meant that ALL citizens were accountable and equal under the law.  That, too, has been corrupted in the United States and the very wealthy in effect become "more equal" under the law; some appear not to be subject to the law altogether.

This brings me to 2015 and beyond.  The Republicans won a decisive victory in November 2014 and it was a referendum against the policies of the Obama Administration.  But a funny thing happened on the way to the forum:  little king george gave a little dictator speech claiming that he "heard" the two-thirds of the electorate that did not vote.  He promised to forge on with his agenda.  The Republicans lined up at the microphones to tell us that they were more willing than ever to work with Obama on legislation.

Some, including me, will give these Republicans who have strayed from the Constitution a pass until January 2015.  The new Congress with strong Republican majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate will have the authority to challenge our Marxist-in-Chief at every turn.  While I always try to remain optimistic, I remain skeptical.  Until I see it I refuse to believe anything out of Washington DC.

The United States was never intended to put together a global government nor was it designed to interfere in the internal affairs of other nations UNLESS another nation undermined our national security.  These days corrupt governments, including my own, invoke national security to hide embarrassing or illegal actions and to silence criticism or debate.  Bush was the first to openly dismember our Constitutional freedoms with his Patriot Act and Obama continues the bi-partisan globalist agenda with a National Defense Authorization Act that allows for the arrest of citizens without due process and the assassination of citizens by the government.  Add to that a rash of memoranda and executive orders and there is now little left for We the People.

I have claimed that at some point in time We the People must responsibly rise up against the government and our corrupt federal courts.  This, however, is not the case with those who promote the assassination of our police officers.  Little king george is part of a bigger plan that includes rogue and criminal elements to create the appearance of social mayhem to justify martial law.  Obama's constant jump to racist conclusions (Harvard, Trayvon Martin, Ferguson) all speak to a Saul Alinski community "organizer" hell bent on inciting riots and violence.  He and Bush are a shame for the US and an embarrassment for anyone who understood Martin Luther King, the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution.  Jeb Bush?  Really?  Hillary?  Are you kidding me?

So where does that leave us?  The video below is well worth 9 minutes of your life.  Our problem is stated succinctly and solutions are analyzed.  Among these I somewhat disagree with one:  One solution is to prepare to leave the United States and go elsewhere.  If that is someone's choice I will not object but I feel it is the duty of every American to remain, resist, and triumph over the despots who are subverting our Constitutional Republic.  Those in other nations must not cheer too loudly at the troubles we are experiencing because if we don't stop the globalist agenda here in the US citizens of every nation will suffer.  Just consider the coming rationing of food, water and energy.  Also consider the globalist desire to reduce global population severely...more than half of our 6-plus billion must die in their view.  With that in mind, beware the global vaccination drives and what might be placed in your food and water.  If you are not part of the corrupt machinery of global totalitarianism you are expendable.

I often wondered what it would be like to have lived during the collapse of the Roman Empire.  Now I believe I do as I witness the collapse of the Republic.  Our collapse is precipitated by our ignorance and selfishness coupled with corruption and power conspiring against a population that cannot or will not fight against tyranny.  My faith in my fellow Patriots is bolstered by many in alternative media who are exposing the truth and the millions of us who will not let the Constitution's light be extinguished for long.  You see, when our corrupt Federal government overtly declares the end of our Constitutional Republic We the People will have the moral basis to act with impunity, but not before.

Ferguson: A Case Study of a Constitutional Breakdown

[Author's Note:  As a retired Army combat veteran I, too, am an Oath Keeper.  We swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights that codify the fundamental liberties endowed upon us by our Creator.  The Missouri Chapter of Oath Keepers wrote a timely and cogent open letter to their Governor.  It clearly defines the problems in Ferguson, the problem with police militarization, and the trampling on our freedoms.  More importantly, the letter suggests remedies for the good of law enforcement and We the People.  At the moment We the People are growing apart from law enforcement.  In their quest for power and control the Department of Homeland Security is behind the militarization of law enforcement and, knowing it will cause patriots to stir, is arming itself for a bloody showdown against US citizens.  As I've pointed out in previous posts:  That showdown will be bloody and protracted and the enemies of our Constitution will perish.  Instead of that possibility I would much prefer that the usurpers of freedom digest the contents of this letter by the Oath Keepers in Missouri; the alternative is chaos and violence.  Strength and Honor.]

An Open Letter To Missouri Governor Nixon from Oath Keepers

Governor Nixon:

 

The events in Ferguson have shown us daily that the looting and violence by a few is not being stopped, while the right of the people to peaceably assemble and petition government for redress of grievances is not being respected. The current riot control tactics of the local police, rooted in outmoded techniques developed in the 1950's - and only made worse by the ongoing militarization of our police - are failing the people of Ferguson, giving them a false choice between rampant looting on the one hand, and hyper-militarized police and curfews on the other (which also fail to stop the looting, leaving the mistaken impression among many of the American people that even more militarization and curtailment of free speech and assembly is needed).  Our local boots on the ground, made up of retired police officers, military veterans, and intelligence workers (with critical input from current serving Missouri police officers) have answers that could provide the people of Ferguson the relief they need and deserve while respecting their rights.   It is time to change a losing game.

 

The militarized police response we saw in Ferguson did not work.  All it did was violate the rights of peaceful protesters and media, alienate the community, and make our country look even more like a police state, with big, intimidating displays of heavily armed, militarized officers, in full "battle-rattle" and backed by BearCat type armored vehicles, firing CS gas and rubber bullets into peaceful protesters and even at media personnel, while failing to stop those relative few who were actually looting, throwing Molotov cocktails, and shooting.

 

The police focus on peaceful protesters, with lines of policemen equipped in riot gear, in fundamentally static positions - at best, slow, plodding, on-line advances - are easily thwarted by modern looters and thugs with cell phones and team work.  Such outdated tactics fail to apprehend those actually looting and shooting.

 

What they do succeed in doing is alienating the local population while risking additional shooting incidents due to unsafe gun-handling.  There were multiple instances of police officers pointing M-4s and sniper rifles at unarmed, peaceful protesters, media, and local residents just going about their business, in displays of spectacularly unsafe weapons discipline and methodology.   As one of our police sniper veterans pointed out, even police snipers deployed in response to prior incidents of shots fired should have used spotting scopes to observe the crowd and search for potential threats, not their rifle scopes.

 

Even worse were the well-publicized incidents of officers routinely pointing M-4s at unarmed protesters at close range for no apparent reason other than to intimidate.  An officer facing an actual lethal threat should be moving to cover, not standing there in a static bunch with other officers, using the rifle as a threat display.  And a properly trained and disciplined professional keeps his rifle pointed down, where it is pointed in a safe direction but still ready to bring up on target within a second at close range, and it stays pointed down unless and until he identifies an actual lethal threat, while he uses his presence and voice, first and foremost, to control the situation - all without covering anyone with his muzzle.

 

Such over-the-top threatening displays, with rifles pointed-in indiscriminately at protesters and residents, only anger and frighten the people and reinforce the perception that it is "the police vs. the people" rather than the police vs. a small number of criminals, while risking the lives of the very people our police are supposed to be serving.

 

And much like over-the top and indiscriminate threat displays and use of force in Iraq lost the hearts and minds of the locals, so too does it lose the battle for hearts and minds here at home - assisting in the agendas of those who wish to divide us along racial lines and create an "us vs. them" mentality among both the people and the police.

 

The overt displays of heavily armed officers lined up to intimidate the crowds were also tactically unsound for the officers themselves, leaving them exposed in the streets.  The more skilled the opposition, the more such tactics fail.  So far, it has only been random, inaccurate, handgun fire directed at the police in Ferguson, not rifle fire.  Against rifle fire, a long line of exposed officers standing in the open would be a disaster for the police.  One active duty police sergeant told us, "I don't want my guys stationary - they just become targets for the thugs throwing bricks and taking pot shots at us with their pistols."  The analysts in our group take this kind of feedback from the rank-and-file very seriously, and you should too.  And, again, it doesn't get the job done.  It doesn't secure the arrest of those who are looting and shooting.  It leaves the officers exposed while it only punishes and threatens those who are there to protest -  those who are not looting and shooting.

 

Likewise for the imposition of curfews, which violate the right of the people to peaceably assemble, while also failing to stop the looters and shooters who ignore such decrees.  The First Amendment prohibits "abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances" period.  It doesn't add on "unless a politician declares a state of emergency and imposes a curfew."   Nor does it say "unless other people are looting and being violent, in which case all of you lose your right to peaceably assemble."  Curfews punish the peaceable majority for the actions of a violent few, and again, alienate the community and send the message that the police see them all as the enemy and seek to trample on the rights of all of them.

 

The local police are capable of handling the current situation in a way that both respects the rights of the people and gets the actual criminals off the streets, but only if a paradigm shift in strategy and tactics can be made.  The leadership, starting with you, Gov. Nixon, and on down the chain of command, must make the changes that are needed to bring sane, effective, and constitutional policing to this situation.

 

 

A Constitutional and Effective Strategy

 

 

One retired Special Forces veteran in our group suggested that instead of grouping the police officers in large blocks (50 to 100 men), that  you should break up these groups into rapid reaction teams of 20 to 25 officers and disperse them, staging them in places spread around Ferguson, with a focus on the looters, not the protesters.  Our intelligence and police veterans concurred, and added that you should also task some officers to go out in street clothes to blend in to the crowds and work as Scouts, identifying threats and looters.  The plainclothes Scouts should be directing the rapid reaction teams to protect the businesses from the ongoing crime, and refocus the police assets away from unconstitutional activities like shooting CS gas at peaceful protesters and enforcing curfews, and get to the business of putting the real criminals behind bars.   If you think you need more minority officers for this role, you could easily find them in the St. Louis County Police Department, St. Charles County Sheriff Department, and other local municipal police departments.  The plainclothes officers can identify and locate the trouble-makers and their caches and resources, such as gas cans and bottles for Molotov cocktails, bricks, etc., and they can also film the trouble-makers in support of later arrests and prosecutions.

 

Those plainclothes Scouts can also be directly backed up by small teams of five to seven additional plainclothes officers to take down identified looters in a manner that uses minimum force along with effective surprise applied only to the actual suspected looter.  And those plainclothes small reaction teams can be further backed up by the uniformed rapid response teams, if needed, as they apprehend the looters and shooters.   If possible, each officer should have a small, discrete camera - such as a badge camera - pinned to their clothing and running at all times, so that there is a recording of all that occurs.

 

An additional recommendation from one of our members was that, rather than closing portions of West Florrisant Avenue and ordering protesters to disperse, officers could place cones on the street to reserve the center lane for police use only (warning that any others entering that lane will be arrested), staging officers at various points along that center lane and using it for police vehicles, while leaving traffic free to move North and South (with appropriate turn lanes interspersed), leaving the sidewalks open for protesters and media, and not trying to confine either to any particular area.  That preserves the middle lane for police to move freely back and forth along that critical two mile stretch while not restricting free speech and assembly rights.

The initial response of the Highway Patrol, to deescalate and demilitarize the situation, was on the right track.  However, it also failed to secure the arrest of the looters.  In fact, officers were explicitly told to not go after the looters.  De-escalating of militarized policing against peaceful protesters was a good idea.  But the "de-escalation" toward the looters and shooters - intentionally NOT going after them - was insane and failed to protect the people and businesses of Ferguson.  Backing off and letting the looters run free failed to solve the problem and actually made it worse, with the success of the looters drawing trouble-makers from all over the country, who came to Ferguson to loot and shoot and incite more violence.  As evidence of the failure, we now have local business owners having to hire private security to protect them from looting because the police in their community are failing to do so.

 

De-escalation and demilitarization must go hand-in-hand with effective policing that stops the looters and shooters.  The officers must be told that if they see an act of looting or violence, they must arrest that man.   That needs to be the policy from the beginning to the end.  Again, we recommend the use of plainclothes officers and small reaction teams to effectively arrest looters and shooters while respecting the rights of the peaceable protesters.

 

With hundreds of criminals stealing the businesses of Ferguson blind and damaging private property, how many arrests of actual looters took place?   The percentage is embarrassing (and arrests of otherwise peaceful protesters for "failure to disperse" or "failure to keep moving" don't count).  The Highway Patrol's tactics did not work, and it is time to admit it.   It was a mistake to remove St. Louis County from a command role.  Instead, Governor, you should have directed them to use their considerable assets to go after the looters while respecting the right of the people to peaceably assemble.

 

Likewise, bringing the National Guard in for "force protection" secured the Command Location, but what about all the other locations where people's lives were being destroyed?  The National Guard was not the answer.  Effective, smart, focused policing was.  You did the right thing by finally pulling the National Guard back out.  Now you just need to direct the application of effective, focused policing.

 

We need officers focused on looters, not on bullying the media and protesters.  We need officers to put violent criminals in jail, not shoot tear gas and rubber bullets at reporters too ignorant to not shine lights in the officers' eyes while they are trying to work.  We need a Governor smart enough to reject the riot control tactics developed before cell phones - tactics that are now failing catastrophically - and smart enough to not try to stifle free speech and violate our Bill of Rights.  We need a Governor to show enough wisdom to lead our state by the Constitution rather than against it with ineffective abuses like curfews.  Governor Nixon, tell us you are wise enough to defeat the criminals without violating our rights. No, SHOW us you are wise enough to change your failing tactics and demand from your men that they discern between peaceful protesters and looting thugs.  SHOW US, you will protect the rights of the FREE PRESS and have the courage to demand your officers arrest the real bad guys.   Stop gassing the innocent and start arresting the looters!

  

Wisdom and discernment will go a long way on the streets of Ferguson, and it is time you focus the police on putting real criminals behind bars, not reporters and peaceful protesters.   It is time the people of Ferguson look up and see a beautiful moon, instead of a cloud of smoke and tear gas.  Truth demands change.

 

A Critical Warning

 

In closing, we must warn you that you are making a grave mistake by continuing the pattern of militarization and abuse of rights that we saw during Occupy Wall Street (with curfews imposed on peaceful protesters, who were wrongly ordered to disperse and then pepper-sprayed at point-blank range); with the egregious death of Marine combat veteran Jose Guerena at the hands of a Tucson SWAT team while serving a mere search warrant; during the response to the Boston Bombing (with families being ordered out of their homes at gun-point, with many veterans telling us that the people of Iraq were treated with more respect and consideration than they saw in Watertown, Massachusetts); and with the recent horrendous use of "First Amendment Areas," military trained snipers, and militarized, heavy-handed Federal law enforcement at Bundy Ranch in Bunkerville, Nevada that galvanized veterans from all across America to travel there to prevent that ranching family from being "Waco'd" (with the Washington Times later disclosing that the Obama Administration did, in fact, consider using military force against the Bundy family and their supporters, but thankfully decided not to).  Those examples only scratch the surface of a systemic problem that has been ratcheting up over the years in nearly every community in America, as Washington Post journalist Radley Balko has exhaustively documented.

 

The rapidly escalating militarization of America's police is fundamentally incompatible with our Constitution and incompatible with a free nation, and inevitably leads to violence against We the People and gross violations of our rights, for which so many of our brothers have fought, bled, and died throughout this nation's history.

 

For us, this is not about race.  This is about defending the Bill of Rights, which is a shield against government abuse that is meant to protect ALL Americans, of whatever color.  Those of us who served as Marine or Army infantry learned to see only one color: green.  Some of our brothers in our fire-teams and squads were dark green, while others were medium or light green, but they were all our brothers, and in combat, they all bled the same color - red - in defense of this nation and in defense of the Constitution, which each of us swore an oath to defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic.  And the same can be said for those constitutional Sheriffs and police officers among us who still know what it means to be a peace officer, not a "law enforcer."

 

The militarization of our police is not a "black problem."  It's an American problem, and it affects all of us.  Senator Rand Paul is right.  We must demilitarize our police.  Governor Nixon, you stand at a critical moment in history.  You must reverse course and set the example for other states to follow, to demilitarize our police and bring police methods back within the bounds of the Constitution.  A failure to do so will further place millions of us American veterans who still take our oaths seriously on a fateful collision course with a burgeoning police state that is going down the same road that other nations have traveled, with tragic ends.

 

Our grandfathers and fathers fought against totalitarian police states overseas.  Please don't force us to fight against one here at home.   Demilitarize the police now, and let us all live in peace under the Constitution, with liberty, and justice, for all.
