Merry Christmas

[Author’s note:  Throughout history the winter solstice has been venerated as the moment when our sun, the giver of life, was welcomed as its prelude to Spring.  The ancient seers knew that what is seen above is reflected below.  Spiritually this time of year is celebratory as the universal or divine energy of the Supreme Architect awakens what winter had put to sleep.

Religions also adopt this time of year for their respective traditions and Christianity, the tradition I grew up with, is no exception.  Distinctively, Christianity celebrates the birth of Jesus and foresees the great Light he brought into the world.  Your stance on his divinity should not be a barrier to the joy this season brings to all who are open to it.  When we look to all great prophets and teachers in the spirit of brotherhood and love the need to denigrate another’s holi- or holy-day should quickly vanish.

So the differences we might appreciate at this time of the season are between the many who value the spiritual traditions on or about the winter solstice and the few who see November and December as just two more months of the calendar year.  Unfortunately for us all, of the few there are those who for their own reasons cannot accept or respect neither the spirit nor the traditions surrounding this special time.  It gives way to the politics of political correctness and the need to sterilize everything to the point of irrelevance.

I, for one, don’t mind the inclusion of other traditions so long as they add to the celebration of the season.  But we must keep something in mind and that is the Christian celebration was and remains the predominant one and is forever linked to the founding of this great nation.

If you are put off by the story of the baby Jesus look to it as an important life lesson for a family.  Try to see the birth of a newborn as it should be, a blessing that brings a new beginning and new life.  Look into the eyes of any child and behold the innocence that we all brought with us at birth.

Those who celebrate the divinity of Jesus sing his praises within their churches and their homes.  We can all, however, enjoy the decorated trees and light, the packages, and uplifting renditions dedicated to Frosty and Rudolph.  All this is possible without becoming a heretic in your own mind.

Love joins, hate separates.  With this in mind I will leave you with a sage observation by Carl Jung:  Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.  Jesus taught that to find the Kingdom of God we must look within.

Allow yourself a moment of calm, open yourself to great possibilities, and leave the jaded vestiges of popular culture aside:  Merry Christmas.]

Like all young boys and girls Christmas was a magical time marked by baked goods, lights and decorations.  Even the adults appeared a bit more relaxed and prone to the festivities and celebrations.  Anticipation filled the air and every day a window on the “count-down” calendar to Christmas was opened.  Christmas carols filled the air and there was a sense of joy and optimism that was palpable.

Growing up as I did in a Latin American culture I had the added advantage of Three Kings Day.  As the only non-Catholic in a Catholic parochial school I became a student of comparative religion as of the first grade.  My friends would ask me about Santa and I would ask them about the Magi.  Not too many years later we all enjoyed the benefits (i.e., toys and stuff) of December 25th followed by January 6th, the Epiphany.  As I was exposed to the Christian meaning of Christmas Three Kings Day seemed the ever more appropriate day for gifts.

Preparations for Christmas followed Thanksgiving.  We would start decorating the house to the sound of Angels We Have Heard On High and All I Want for Christmas.  We always went out the week before Christmas to buy the tree.  We would not dispose of the tree until after Three Kings Day.  I continued this tradition but found that in the United States things were a bit different.  The tree went up a day or so after Thanksgiving and was seemingly gone by New Year’s.  I called my mother who explained that we would have done the same except for the fact that Christmas trees just weren’t available any sooner.  Once again my perceptions had played tricks on me.

Christmas day was a flurry of activity.  We wanted to attack the tree in search of bounty and my parents would sit us at the table with our stockings while they quickly drank their morning coffee.  At some point the song Dreaming of a White Christmas would play and we would ask our parents what a white Christmas was like; we looked out and could only behold a tropical paradise!  One by one, in turn, presents were opened and we made a point of oohing and aahing at the least of any of our gifts.  It was the process we loved.

Caroling with friends was common and many parties led up to Three Kings Day.  I had learned the ritual of preparation from my friends and then educated Mom and Dad.  First you go outside and find the most tender and appetizing field grass for the camels.  I was told that the three camels would eat the grass out of one box.  So with grass in the box and placed under my bed I would go to sleep anticipating the arrival of the Magi.  Like Santa the Magi never woke me up; I would awake and find one or two toys in the box.  Smiling I would give thanks as the Magi returned to wherever they came from.  I knew Santa came from the North Pole but I never learned where the Magi called home.

Like Thanksgiving our custom was to prepare the Noble Bird.  Again, we would linger around the dining table recounting tales of Christmas past and listen to the childhood stories of our parents.  Half the fun was realizing that they, too, were once children just like us.  It gave us hope that there was a future for us as well.

But the most important lesson I have learned from Christmas is that, regardless of faith or background, it is a day within a season that draws our attention to friends and family.  For those who can see, it lifts our spirits and shows us the good of which the human soul is capable.

While many see the dark storm clouds, these will soon give way to sunny skies.  The days of evil and darkness will be subdued and conquered by the majority of us on planet Earth.  That majority want good, not bad; freedom, not slavery; peace, not violence.

Believe and your dreams will come true!  I look at my grandchildren and I see the possibility for a better future.  All it requires is for good men and women to concentrate, pray and believe.

With this in mind I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and all that is good for you and yours for 2014.

When are we free to overthrow the federal government?

When the President no longer feels obligated to uphold the Constitution and presides over an Administration that blatantly defies the law, We the People are no longer beholden to obey the law either.  We the People are required to safeguard our liberties, not as given to us, but as our birthright as codified within our Constitution and its Bill of Rights.

At this point, the Legislative Branch must initiate impeachment proceedings for a peaceful transition of political power.  The Judicial Branch must cease and desist from legislating from the bench.

If all this fails, We the People must invoke the 2nd Amendment and replace an unconstitutional and  unrepresentative government with one structured within the framework of the original Constitution.

It is the sworn duty of every military person on active duty and of law enforcement to support and defend the Constitution.  Therefore they must side with We the People.  If they are not part of the Constitutional solution, they fall into the category of domestic enemy and must be treated as such.

But, unlike little king george, I will not drone on.

But now you know why the Obamas, the Bloombergs and Leftists and Fascists and Tyrants all want the people disarmed.

America will continue to lead by example and that is coming sooner rather than later.

Strength and Honor.

The Constitutional Republic: Can it Last?

[Author's Note:  Cognitive dissonance, per Dr. Aronson, is a state of tension that occurs whenever an individual simultaneously holds two cognitions (ideas, attitudes, beliefs, opinions) that are psychologically inconsistent.  We are driven to reconcile this tension and we do.  I have come to that point of reconciliation regarding the future of the United States of America.  Just as the Progressive fascists in our midst have committed to destroying our Republic and the Rule of Law, I too must commit to the defense of our Constitutions against the continued onslaught by foreign and domestic enemies alike.  What follows is my response to an email from a friend and patriot.  She was reacting to an article she was sent (see http://www.wnd.com/2013/11/general-lets-make-obama-resign/) and states that the "solution of this article is wishful thinking".  I read the article and responded to a like-minded Patriot who clearly sees the enemy in our midst.]

I totally agree with you.  The General is an astute and honorable man but he is overlooking history and human nature.  First, that revolutions have never been initiated by the masses and, second, those with the disposition to risk their lives for a cause are fewer in numbers than those who will want to sit on the fence and avoid all risk.

Our elected officials (no longer representatives) have for whatever reason abandoned the Constitution and the rule of law.  They have all been exposed and many have surely accepted the fact that they will be coddled and pampered when the fascist coup is complete.

Our recourse is to work in our communities to prepare them for self-sufficiency.  While this will not work in large cities, it is feasible in towns and smaller cities.  Like-minded Americans must coalesce to go beyond individual preparation and begin to foster group preparations.  Communities must rally law enforcement support to themselves and away from DHS.  Communities must rally to weather most storms and reject their National Guard, the US Military, and FEMA above all.

I’m afraid that decades of benign neglect by We the People and our politicians (by design or by default) have led us to the precipice.  To back away from it will require action with a high likelihood of violence.  The fascists and their lapdogs in Congress will not go voluntarily; why should they give up the perks and double-standards?

About half of Americans in urban areas will panic, cringe in fear and die.  The other half will stand and fight ferociously; the stockpile of DHS munitions will be our legacy to a Republic reborn.  The tree of liberty will have had its fill of blood, yet again.

Are there interim and more peaceful options?  Yes.  These options cannot be exercised without funding and organization.  Where are the “deep pockets” of the Republican Party?  Where is the Soros counterpart?  I can’t see them.  All I see is pseudo-conservatism and apologists on FOX and left-wing bile most everywhere else in the mainstream media.

Unlike our Revolutionary period, we don’t have leaders leading and organizing and much less sacrificing their lives and sacred honor.  Most “leaders” today might chuckle at the term sacred honor.  But they muddy their mouths to honor our misguided youth in our wars that have only been designed to further the New World Order agenda.  They had little or nothing to do with national security.  General Kean and others, as I, have been part of that problem because we naively trusted in our government.

I hope Republicans can muster and do something other than follow Boehner and Mitchell.  I hope the Party can start speaking plainly and back off their hypocritical notion of a Rubio led dawn of Hispanic support and votes.  Will the Party revert to its original values or will it persist in being the “Democrat-Lite” Party.

Eight years of Bush and the interim years of Republican buffoonery in Congress give me little hope.  Even Senator Cornyn could not stand and support Senator Cruz.  Now the Senate rules for appointments have been reduced to a simple majority and Republicans are whimpering in a corner somewhere.  I fear the Republican Party continues to be led by elitists who use the Party as a vehicle for their own interests and the American People be damned.

I’m open to evidence to the contrary.  Until now all that they say would indicate that they think what is going on is politics as usual and not a Marxist coup from within.

My!, the very thought must be so horrid to contemplate over cocktails at the Country Club.

Whatever happens to me is immaterial; those who have known me know what I stand for and what I will die for.  As for the “sacred honor” part I don’t even crack a smile.

Strength and Honor.

Hugh

PS:  We will all know the truth by next November if not sooner.  The Administration will not allow for a Republican majority in both chambers of Congress.

Civil Disobedience Now

What do we mean by the revolution?  The war?  That was no part of the revolution.  It was only an effect and consequence of it.  The revolution was in the minds of the people.
John Adams, 1815

If we think about our common roots we will look within and know we treasure our liberty.

We value fairness and don't like others who jump the line.

We feel empathy for others and become part of the images of Americans helping neighbors who've lost everything many miles away.

Americans help with their labor, their donation and their time.

From time to time in history Americans have donated all that they could have, their lives.

Memorials in the park and scrapbooks in the attic are testaments to who we really are.

The one thing we are not is defeatist; Americans rise to a real challenge and work together.

We now face a time where too many of us must find a way to lighten our heavy load.

Americans can do that:  I will help you and you will help me.

Even if I carry a full load, if half of it is yours and half of it is mine we've each relieved the other of half our burden.

With this in mind watch the following 4-minute carefully.  You and I can start making drastic changes for the better right now...today!  We can belong to different political parties, different clubs and churches and still make it all happen.  We don't need politicians at any level to interfere or donate money to pressure groups competing for our money.

We just need to behave, for a time, like the Americans we are.  Join me now and watch this wonderfully short video with a simple solutions to a big problem.  Most of us will go out today and do some shopping.  If not we'll journey out tomorrow.  Either way, watch this video and share it.  If we follow the advice provided we will have journeyed in the same direction together...as the real Americans we already are.

Follow the link or watch the video below and let's do this together!

Is Martial Law Coming to the United States?

[Author's Note:  It is my sincere hope that those in uniform, military and law enforcement, heed the danger signals and prepare to live up to their oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic.  It is imperative that retired military and law enforcement assist in the process of making our fellow citizens aware of the approaching tyranny.  We can survive victorious only if we live up to our motto and become "Out of Many One".  Wealth and power are not justifications for any group to subvert the Constitution to implement a pseudo-democracy the likes of which we see around the globe.  If you are on active duty, do not draw attention to yourself as We the People, the patriots, want you to work within the system and against it.  The American people are not your enemies; the rogue civilian politicians and their masters are and they will use you to achieve their ends.]

In this interesting first video you get a synopsis of the globalist agenda and the nature of their collective power-grab here and abroad.  Because law enforcement is becoming militarized and the military have increase their domestic training events it is well worth your time to start contemplating alternative possibilities.

One thing you might want to be on alert for:  Should the report of an internet virus attack on bank accounts be announced (probably on a Friday), get ready.  Martial law in the U.S. will be rolled out within 72 hours.  Martial law will, at some point, involve UN and other nation's soldiers (to minimize American soldiers having to fire upon their countrymen?).

Just some thoughts....you decide.

Martial law planning, as part of military planning, includes "shaping the battlefield".  This phase seeks to create an environment favorable to the desired military outcome.  In the case of domestic martial law:  Segregate those who will fight to save the Constitution and the Republic and disarm the American people.  Implied tasks include co-opting and controlling local Sheriffs and law enforcement and the PSYOP encouragement of the populace to become informants against their neighbors.  Civil Affairs will be present to offer aid and comfort to the informants and those who are desperate because they failed to prepare for the crisis.  Foreign soldiers will very likely be employed in areas where the Pentagon expects violent resistance in states such as Texas, Arizona, Louisiana, and others.

These clips and notions are to stimulate critical thinking and our individual research.  They do not represent conclusions nor do they purport to prove anything.  However, to be in denial and not recognize that we, here in the U.S. and the people the world round, are plagued with economic and political crises is dangerous.  The "good ol' days" are gone.  The question becomes:  What's coming?

You Tube won't allow this video to be shared but it provides a sober assessment by a retired State Trooper:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNy2ORKcK04

Equally sobering are the words from the police officer in the next clip.  I would just suggest that some of the FEMA camps will be used by the foreign troops that will be used against the American people on American soil.

Now go forward, investigate, and prepare.

One final thought to consider:  The globalists and the military planners always build in assumptions to any contingency plan and one such assumption is that you will likely cower, do nothing and obey your new fascist masters.  Does that really describe you?  I hope not.

Finally I would clarify that in all my posts the use of the word fascist is meant in its generic sense.  A fascist is a person who, for whatever motive or ideology, feels that he/she must subjugate and control others.  It is a person who does not embrace individual liberty beyond the scope of those fellow travelers who swear allegiance to their regime or subversive cause.  In short, a fascist does not like our Republic, the freedoms the Constitution stands for, nor the system of checks and balances that attempts to thwart unhealthy concentrations of power.

Pray, prepare and remain confident in the abiding principles that motivated our Founding Fathers.  Those that argue against our Founding Fathers today are charlatans and the domestic enemies our Constitution warned against.

Government Deceipt and False Flag Operations: Why?

Author's Note:  There is too much going on and it is deliberate.  We are being systematically bombarded with crises and alarms and "breaking news".  The mainstream media in the US and elsewhere is not in the business to report the news but to exploit that which can be exploited.  Good news does not sell so we are exposed to a never-ending stream of bad news followed by calls to action.  Some of us try to stay above the fray but it is a daunting proposition.

What happens when the foundation of what we thought was true becomes suspect?  This new category, "Thought Bites", is intended to create propositions, raise questions, and challenge the status quo.  In this section I will not elicit your agreement but would ask that you simply consider the possibilities for your own deliberation.

We are at a major historical junction and it will define the next one hundred years -- if we survive at all.  There is a battle for power that is bigger and more oppressive than ever contemplated before.  If we don't face the alternative possibilities of rampant corruption and evil at their worst, or blissful irresponsibility at their best, we can be certain of  great suffering and disappointment.  Unless, of course, you willingly desire to be stripped of your liberty and your humanity.

In the 1980s the US Army psychological operations began using state of the art blue-screen and other special effects technologies.  I remember commenting that soon we would be able to artificially place anyone anywhere in the world in a total fabrication of reality for the viewers.  Unfortunately, that day has arrived -- viewer beware!

Consider this:

1.  The feds declared war on poverty, increased their personnel and budgets, and poverty increased.

2.  The feds declared war on drugs, increased their personnel and budgets, and drug use, violence and prison populations increased.

3.  The feds declared war on terror, massively increased their personnel and budgets, and government violence, categories of potential terrorists, the use of the word terrorist and the quantum losses of our rights and liberties significantly increased.

A thinking man would consider that some thought went into these initiatives which, in the end, only serve the argument for bigger, more expensive, and controlling government.  The common denominator the "wars" share is our collective loss of liberty and the purposeful erosion of the US Constitution.

The "World is Round" Hypothesis in a Flat World:

It used to be that power-brokers and politicians would think of situations to exploit if and when these presented themselves.

With the advent of Nine-Eleven they think of situations to exploit then purposefully go about creating them.

Who are "they"?  That is for you to consider but follow the money, the power and motive.

Hint:  Judge the tree by its fruit.
