I totally agree with you. The General is an astute and
honorable man but he is overlooking history and human nature. First, that
revolutions have never been initiated by the masses and, second, those with the
disposition to risk their lives for a cause are fewer in numbers than those who
will want to sit on the fence and avoid all risk.
Our elected officials (no longer representatives) have for
whatever reason abandoned the Constitution and the rule of law. They have all
been exposed and many have surely accepted the fact that they will be coddled
and pampered when the fascist coup is complete.
Our recourse is to work in our communities to prepare them for
self-sufficiency. While this will not work in large cities, it is feasible in
towns and smaller cities. Like-minded Americans must coalesce to go beyond
individual preparation and begin to foster group preparations. Communities must
rally law enforcement support to themselves and away from DHS. Communities must
rally to weather most storms and reject their National Guard, the US Military,
and FEMA above all.
I’m afraid that decades of benign neglect by We the People and
our politicians (by design or by default) have led us to the precipice. To back
away from it will require action with a high likelihood of violence. The
fascists and their lapdogs in Congress will not go voluntarily; why should they
give up the perks and double-standards?
About half of Americans in urban areas will panic, cringe in
fear and die. The other half will stand and fight ferociously; the stockpile of
DHS munitions will be our legacy to a Republic reborn. The tree of liberty will
have had its fill of blood, yet again.
Are there interim and more peaceful options? Yes. These
options cannot be exercised without funding and organization. Where are the
“deep pockets” of the Republican Party? Where is the Soros counterpart? I
can’t see them. All I see is pseudo-conservatism and apologists on FOX and
left-wing bile most everywhere else in the mainstream media.
Unlike our Revolutionary period, we don’t have leaders leading
and organizing and much less sacrificing their lives and sacred honor. Most
“leaders” today might chuckle at the term sacred honor. But they muddy their
mouths to honor our misguided youth in our wars that have only been designed to
further the New World Order agenda. They had little or nothing to do with
national security. General Kean and others, as I, have been part of that
problem because we naively trusted in our government.
I hope Republicans can muster and do something other than
follow Boehner and Mitchell. I hope the Party can start speaking plainly and
back off their hypocritical notion of a Rubio led dawn of Hispanic support and
votes. Will the Party revert to its original values or will it persist in being
the “Democrat-Lite” Party.
Eight years of Bush and the interim years of Republican
buffoonery in Congress give me little hope. Even Senator Cornyn could not stand
and support Senator Cruz. Now the Senate rules for appointments have been
reduced to a simple majority and Republicans are whimpering in a corner
somewhere. I fear the Republican Party continues to be led by elitists who use
the Party as a vehicle for their own interests and the American People be
damned.
I’m open to evidence to the contrary. Until now all that they
say would indicate that they think what is going on is politics as usual and not
a Marxist coup from within.
My!, the very thought must be so horrid to contemplate over
cocktails at the Country Club.
Whatever happens to me is immaterial; those who have known me
know what I stand for and what I will die for. As for the “sacred honor” part I
don’t even crack a smile.
Strength and Honor.
Hugh
PS: We will all know the truth by next November if not
sooner. The Administration will not allow for a Republican majority in both
chambers of Congress.
