An update…
I spoke at length with the TSA and made no headway. Customer service indicated that I made some very good points but there was nobody who could advise me ahead of time about the enhanced pat down or TSA grope.
I called Senator Cornyn’s office in DC and Dallas. Short of initiating a Congressional Inquiry after suffering abuse at the hands of the TSA, his staff told me he could do nothing regarding the TSA problem.
The TX ACLU has advised me that they are following the legal challenges and concur that current procedures violate our civil rights, specifically the 4th amendment.
The Dallas Morning News reporter Terry Maxon is following the story and will be publishing more on the subject prior to holiday travel.
